Jeffrey A. Stopko

Mr. Jeffrey A. Stopko has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of AmeriServ Financial, Inc. since March 24, 2015. Prior to his appointment as President and CEO, Mr. Stopko served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial and Administrative Officer of AmeriServ Financial, Inc. since March 2009 where he directed all administrative services to include finance, information technology, credit administration and human resources. Prior to that Mr. Stopko served as Chief Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer of AmeriServ Financial, Inc. since 1997 where he directed all financial and investment activities. He guided a major corporate balance sheet restructuring at AmeriServ that reduced the risk profile and provided the foundation for improved earnings. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with Big Four accounting experience. Mr. Stopko is a 1984 graduate of Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
Jim Huerth

With more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Mr. Huerth first joined AmeriServ as the chief commercial banking officer. He has held multiple roles in the company, including chief banking officer, president and CEO of AmeriServ Financial Bank, and most recently, president and CEO of AmeriServ Trust and Financial Services Company, an affiliate of AmeriServ Financial Bank. Mr. Huerth holds bachelor of arts degrees in both economics and business management from North Carolina State University. He currently serves on the board of directors for the United Way of the Laurel Highlands and the Enterprise Venture Capital Corporation.
Susan Tomera Angeletti

Ms. Angeletti joined AmeriServ in 2014 as senior vice president and director of corporate marketing and alternative delivery systems. She is responsible for all facets of marketing, including branding, product development and alternative delivery customer services. She holds an MBA from St. Francis University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Pittsburgh. Susan is an active board member of the Women's Help Center and Junior Achievement of Western PA.
Jack Babich

Senior Vice President and Chief Human Relations Officer Jack Babich has served the AmeriServ team since he first joined as a human resources officer in 1987. Today, Mr. Babich serves as a director for all aspects of corporate services, including collective bargaining, human resources, facilities, purchasing, organizational development, bank security, and BSA/AML. He serves as the corporation’s chief labor negotiator in addition to leading all human capital related objectives associated with long-term growth strategy. Mr. Babich has a bachelor of science degree in occupational education from Southern Illinois University in addition to two master’s degrees, one in general administration from Central Michigan University and one in labor/industrial relations from St. Francis University. He currently serves on the boards of the Employers Medical Access Partership, UPMC Health Plan, Johnstown Redevelopment Authority, Veterans Community Initiative and the Cambria County Airport Authority.
Michael Baylor

Mr. Baylor brings more than 35 years of experience to his role as executive vice president and chief commercial banking officer for AmeriServ. He has an undergraduate degree in finance from West Virginia University and a Masters of Business Administration from Frostburg State University. Additionally, he has graduated from The Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware and from the National Commercial Lending School at the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Baylor is involved in various community and not for profit organizations that include the Greater Hagerstown Committee, the Chamber of Commerce, the National Wild Turkey Federation, the Izaak Walton League and Ducks Unlimited.
Bettina D. Fochler

Ms. Fochler has served the AmeriServ team since 2001 and has been the Chief Credit Officer of AmeriServ Financial, Inc., since January 2017. She brings nearly 20 years of Credit Risk Management experience. Ms. Fochler previously held the position of Credit Manager where she was responsible for oversight of the underwriting of commercial loan transactions, as well as being integrally involved in asset quality and risk management. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in business from the University of Pittsburgh in 2000. Ms. Fochler has been involved for many years with fundraising efforts for St Vincent dePaul, specifically the Food for Families project.
Michael Lynch

As senior vice president, chief financial and investment officer, and chief risk officer, Mr. Lynch brings more than 35 years of experience to his role at AmeriServ. Prior to assuming his current role in 2015, Mr. Lynch served as vice president and chief investment and risk officer. He holds a bachelor of arts in business from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, as well as an MBA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Lynch serves on the Johnstown Christian School Board of Education.
Kerri L. Mueller

Ms. Mueller serves as Senior Vice President of Retail for AmeriServ Financial, a role in which she is responsible for all operational aspects of the community banking offices and manages all operational policies and procedures to ensure the safety and soundness of the Bank. In addition, she is responsible for the management, sales and service initiatives of all community offices. Her duties include providing leadership to the retail sales staff and formulating new growth and sales strategies while fostering both business and consumer customer relationships. Mueller earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, with a Minor in Communication from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. She obtained her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in December of 2011. Ms. Mueller currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the PA Mountains Chapter of the American Red Cross. She also serves as a member of the Executive Committee and Vice-Chairman for the Cambria County Regional Chamber of Commerce. In addition, she is actively involved in the Pennsylvania Bankers Association by serving on the Women in Banking Panel of Judges and currently is a member of the Emerging Leaders Committee and PA Bankers Champions Program.
Robert E. Werner III

Since 2014, Mr. Werner has served as AmeriServ’s senior vice president and chief information officer, leading the technology and operations divisions through IT, applications, call center, deposit services, transaction services, loan administration, trust company operations and information security. Mr. Werner has a bachelor of science degree in economics from Penn State University. He currently serves as a trustee for the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra.
James P. Ziance

Mr. Ziance has been with AmeriServ since 2010, when he first joined the team as an audit supervisor. In 2014, he was promoted to senior vice president and chief auditor, a role in which he manages internal audits, audit committee and board of director reporting, and external audit examinations, communications and information requests. He is also responsible for requirements that underlie annual assessment of internal control over financial reporting. Possessing more than 35 years of bank internal audit experience, Mr. Ziance holds a bachelor of science degree in economics and a certificate in accounting from Penn State University. He earned credentials of Certified Bank Auditor, Certified Financial Services Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner.

Allan R. Dennison

Mr. Dennison is currently the non-executive chairman of AmeriServ, the Bank and the Trust Company. Mr. Dennison served as non-executive vice chairman of the Board of Directors of AmeriServ, the Bank, and the Trust Company from November 2012 to January 2019. Previously, from February 2004 until October 2009, Mr. Dennison served as president and CEO of AmeriServ and its subsidiaries. Mr. Dennison has more than 40 years of banking experience, and his prior positions have included president and CEO of Swineford National Bank, a community bank affiliated with Fulton Financial Corporation, and senior positions with Mellon Bank of Pittsburgh and Huntington National Bank. Mr. Dennison is also the chair of the Board’s Enterprise Risk Committee.
Craig G. Ford

Mr. Ford is currently the non-executive vice chairman of AmeriServ, the Bank and the Trust Company. Mr. Ford was previously the non-executive chairman of AmeriServ, the Bank and the Trust Company from January 2003 until January 2019. From December 2002 until March 2004, he served as the president and CEO of AmeriServ and the Bank. From 1992 to December 2002 and since his retirement from AmeriServ in March 2004, he has acted as an independent consultant to small to mid-cap financial institutions and advised them on strategic planning, technology planning, business plan development and execution, and management-board coordination. From 1987 to 1992, Mr. Ford was a group executive vice president of Meridian Bancorp, where he was responsible for technology and government relations. Prior to that, Mr. Ford had a long career with Mellon Bank, where he led the bank’s community banking division for 10 years until he began serving as the chairman’s liaison with acquired companies. Mr. Ford has also served as president of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association, chairman of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association Government Relations Council, and chairman of the American Bankers Association’s Membership Criteria Committee. Mr. Ford also served as co-chairman of the Committee for Efficiency in Government of the Office of Management of the Budget (1974-1976), as a member of the Financial Council of the American Management Association, and as a member of the USPS Treasury Task Force (1970-1975). He received his Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce of the University of Pennsylvania.
J. Michael Adams, Jr., Esquire

Mr. Adams is the managing member of Mike Adams & Associates LLC, a Pittsburgh-based law firm. He has 30 years of legal experience and has served as legal counsel to both private businesses and public institutions, boards and commissions. Mr. Adams is also the owner and managing member of NATASH LP, a real estate investment company. From 2011 until 2015, he owned the Elizabeth Milling Company, a manufacturing and packaging company of ice-melt products. Mr. Adams also previously served as chairman of the Board of Directors of the Daily News Publishing Co., a privately held company. He received a B.S. from Carnegie Mellon University and a J.D. from University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Mr. Adams is chair of the Corporate Governance Committee.
Daniel R. DeVos

Mr. DeVos is the former president and CEO of Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC), a position he held from 1988 until he retired in 2009. Under Mr. DeVos’ leadership, CTC grew from 15 to more than 1,500 employees at 50 locations across the country with annual revenues in excess of $240 million. In addition, Mr. DeVos has served as chairman of the Johnstown Chamber of Commerce and the Johnstown chapter of the United Way. Mr. DeVos is chair of the Board Technology Committee.
Bruce E. Duke, III, M.D.

Dr. Duke is currently retired from practice. Until April 2011, he was a surgeon with Conemaugh Health System (CHS), the largest health care provider in west central Pennsylvania. From 2009 to 2014, Dr. Duke has served on the Finance Committee and Capital Improvement Subcommittee for CHS’s holding company until its sale. Also, since July 2013, he has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Conemaugh Health Foundation, which was renamed the 1889 Foundation following the sale of CHS in 2014, on which he serves as the chairman of its Grants Committee. Prior to his employment with CHS in 2008, he was the president of Valley Surgeons, Inc., a 10-employee firm with three surgeons, where he oversaw the business matters for the firm and acted as a fiduciary for its pension plan. Dr. Duke is chair of the bank’s Pension Committee.
Kim W. Kunkle

Mr. Kunkle has served since 1984 as the president and CEO of Laurel Holdings, Inc., a closely held private company with wholly owned subsidiaries involved in underground utility construction, plumbing, janitorial services, metal machining, industrial tool distribution, and pipeline rehabilitation. Laurel Holdings employs more than 200 people and has sales in excess of $17 million. Mr. Kunkle is chair of the bank’s Discount Committee.
Margaret A. O’Malley, Esquire

Ms. O’Malley has more than 31 years of experience in private legal practice and is the owner of Yost & O’Malley, a law firm in Johnstown where she advises both individuals and corporate and nonprofit entities. She received a B.A. from the Pennsylvania State University and a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia, and is an experienced litigator in both state and federal courts. Ms. O’Malley is chair of the Compensation and Audit Committees.
Mark E. Pasquerilla

Mr. Pasquerilla has been an officer and director of Pasquerilla Enterprises, LP, a Johnstown-based real estate owner and manager and also a private financial investor, and its subsidiaries since 2006 (CEO since 2013, and President from 2006 to 2013). Mr. Pasquerilla has been an officer of Crown American Enterprises, Inc. (Crown American), a private financial investor, from 1992 to 2013 and a director from 2012 to 2013. From April 1999 until December 2006, he served as Chairman and CEO of its affiliates, Crown Holding Company and Crown Hotel Holding Company. From 1992 to December 2006, Mr. Pasquerilla also served as President of Crown Holding Company and its various subsidiaries. From April 1999 until it was until it was acquired by Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT) in November 2003, he served as Chairman and CEO of Crown American Realty Trust and as a trustee from 1993 until 2003. Mr. Pasquerilla has been a trustee of PREIT since December 2003 and a member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee of its Board of Trustees since 2011. He received a B.A. from Notre Dame University and an M.S. from the London School of Economics. Mr. Pasquerilla is chair of the Executive Committee.

Ms. Sargent is the owner and president of Sargent’s Court Reporting Service, Inc., Sargent’s Personnel Agency, Inc., and Sargent’s Transcription Service, Inc. She is active in all phases of the business, including operations, marketing, financial analysis and contract negotiations. Ms. Sargent has won numerous business-related awards, including the Small Business Person of the Year from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and Entrepreneur of the Year for Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia from Ernst & Young and Merrill Lynch. Ms. Sargent is the chair of the Nominating Committee.

Mr. Wise is the former president of Pennsylvania Electric Company, Metropolitan Edison Company, Jersey Central Power and Light Company, GPU Genco, Inc., and former CEO of GPU International, each of them a subsidiary of GPU, Inc., a large public energy conglomerate of 14,000 employees, serving more than four million customers. GPU, Inc., merged with FirstEnergy, Inc., in 2001.
