Jeffrey A. Stopko has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of AmeriServ Financial, Inc. since 2015. AmeriServ Financial is a $1.5 billion community bank headquartered in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, with a significant wealth management division overseeing $2.8 billion in customer assets under administration. He also currently holds the title of Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Stopko served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial and Administrative Officer of AmeriServ Financial, where he was responsible for leading key administrative functions, including finance, information technology, credit administration, and human resources.
Mr. Stopko currently serves as Chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia’s Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council. He also serves as Chairman of the Board for Johnstown Area Regional Industries; the leading organization focused on expanding economic opportunities in Cambria and Somerset Counties. In addition, he is a board member of the Community Foundation of the Alleghenies and Treasurer of the nonprofit Arcadia Theater in Windber, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Stopko earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bucknell University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, with prior accounting experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
