Mr. Jeffrey A. Stopko has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of AmeriServ Financial, Inc. since March 24, 2015. Prior to his appointment as President and CEO, Mr. Stopko served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial and Administrative Officer of AmeriServ Financial, Inc. since March 2009 where he directed all administrative services to include finance, information technology, credit administration and human resources. Prior to that Mr. Stopko served as Chief Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer of AmeriServ Financial, Inc. since 1997 where he directed all financial and investment activities. He guided a major corporate balance sheet restructuring at AmeriServ that reduced the risk profile and provided the foundation for improved earnings. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with Big Four accounting experience. Mr. Stopko is a 1984 graduate of Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Jim Huerth,

With more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Mr. Huerth first joined AmeriServ as the chief commercial banking officer. He has held multiple roles in the company, including chief banking officer, president and CEO of AmeriServ Financial Bank, and most recently, president and CEO of AmeriServ Trust and Financial Services Company, an affiliate of AmeriServ Financial Bank. Mr. Huerth holds bachelor of arts degrees in both economics and business management from North Carolina State University. He currently serves on the board of directors for the United Way of the Laurel Highlands and the Enterprise Venture Capital Corporation.

Susan Tomera Angeletti,
Senior Vice President and Director of corporate marketing and alternative Delivery Systems

Ms. Angeletti joined AmeriServ in 2014 as senior vice president and director of corporate marketing and alternative delivery systems. She is responsible for all facets of marketing, including branding, product development and alternative delivery customer services. She holds an MBA from St. Francis University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Pittsburgh. Susan is an active board member of the Women's Help Center and Junior Achievement of Western PA.

Michael Baylor,
Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Banking Officer

Mr. Baylor brings more than 35 years of experience to his role as executive vice president and chief commercial banking officer for AmeriServ. He has an undergraduate degree in finance from West Virginia University and a Masters of Business Administration from Frostburg State University. Additionally, he has graduated from The Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware and from the National Commercial Lending School at the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Baylor is involved in various community and not for profit organizations that include the Greater Hagerstown Committee, the Chamber of Commerce, the National Wild Turkey Federation, the Izaak Walton League and Ducks Unlimited.

Laura Fiore,
Senior Vice President and Chief Auditor

Ms. Fiore, a Certified Public Accountant and magna cum laude graduate of West Virginia University, joined AmeriServ's Audit Department in 2011 and was promoted to the position of Chief Auditor in 2020. She has held positions of increasing responsibility throughout her time at AmeriServ, including that of Vice President & Deputy Auditor immediately prior to her promotion. Ms. Fiore manages internal audits, audit committee and board of director reporting, and external audit examinations, communications and information requests. She is also responsible for requirements that underlie annual assessment of internal control over financial reporting. Prior to joining AmeriServ, Ms. Fiore was a Senior Auditor for KPMG.

Bettina D. Fochler,
Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer

Ms. Fochler has served the AmeriServ team since 2001 and has been the Chief Credit Officer of AmeriServ Financial, Inc., since January 2017. She brings nearly 20 years of Credit Risk Management experience. Ms. Fochler previously held the position of Credit Manager where she was responsible for oversight of the underwriting of commercial loan transactions, as well as being integrally involved in asset quality and risk management. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in business from the University of Pittsburgh in 2000. Ms. Fochler has been involved for many years with fundraising efforts for St Vincent dePaul, specifically the Food for Families project.

Michael Lynch,

As executive vice president, chief financial and investment officer, and chief risk officer, Mr. Lynch brings more than 38 years of experience to his role at AmeriServ. Prior to assuming his current role in 2015, Mr. Lynch served as vice president and chief investment and risk officer. He holds a bachelor of arts in business from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, as well as an MBA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Lynch serves on the American Heart Association's executive leadership team of Cambria & Somerset Counties and also serves as a foundation board member for Penn Highlands Community College.

Kerri L. Mueller,
Senior Vice President of Retail Banking

Ms. Mueller serves as Senior Vice President of Retail for AmeriServ Financial, a role in which she is responsible for all operational aspects of the community banking offices and manages all operational policies and procedures to ensure the safety and soundness of the Bank. In addition, she is responsible for the management, sales and service initiatives of all community offices. Her duties include providing leadership to the retail sales staff and formulating new growth and sales strategies while fostering both business and consumer customer relationships. Mueller earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, with a Minor in Communication from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. She obtained her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in December of 2011. Ms. Mueller currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the PA Mountains Chapter of the American Red Cross. She also serves as a member of the Executive Committee and Vice-Chairman for the Cambria County Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Michele Scanlan,

Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Michele Scanlan joined the AmeriServ team in March of 2021. She serves as the leader for collective bargaining, human resources, and organizational development. She also serves as the corporation’s chief labor negotiator in addition to leading all human capital-related objectives associated with long-term growth strategy. Ms. Scanlan has a bachelor of science degree in human resource management from Geneva College, as well as a master of arts degree in human resource management and industrial relations from St. Francis University. She holds certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), an SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and as a Strategic Human Resources Business Partner.

Catherine Torok,
Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Catherine Torok assumed the role of Chief Information Officer in November of 2021. She oversees all aspects of information technology, including operation of existing technology platforms along with providing direction and leadership for the evaluation and implementation of new technologies. Ms. Torok earned a master's degree in education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor of science degree in computer science/math from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. She also holds a BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) and an ISC2, Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification. Ms. Torok is also an officer in the Penn Highlands Chapter of the ISC2.
